Overview

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to all services and products provided by Laura Boatman trading as The Art of Transformation (ABN 37 753 890 104) ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a session, purchasing a product or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and, for Root Cause Health Coaching, our Health Coaching Disclaimer.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our Services

We offer:

- Human Design, Gene Keys and Numerology readings, including personal, parent, relationship, health and business readings

- Purpose Coaching and Transformation Coaching, as single sessions and packages

- Root Cause Health Coaching, as single sessions and a 10-week program

- Written reports, voice-recorded readings and digital products, such as our Root Cause Healing Guides

- Human Design for Teams (Lead by Design), which is provided under a separate written agreement

Sessions are held online via Google Meet unless otherwise agreed.

Bookings and Payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe via our Squarespace and Acuity Scheduling platforms. Full payment is required at the time of booking or purchase, unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing. All prices are in Australian dollars.

For readings, please provide your accurate birth details (date, time and place of birth, and your full birth name for Numerology) at least 48 hours before your session. The accuracy of a reading depends on the accuracy of the details provided.

Sessions booked through third-party platforms, such as Bodhi Holistic Hub, are also subject to that platform's terms, including its cancellation policy.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

You may reschedule a session at no cost with at least 24 hours' notice.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, and missed sessions, are forfeited. If you arrive late, your session will still finish at its scheduled time.

If we need to cancel or reschedule your session, we will offer you a new time. If we cannot find a suitable time, you will receive a full refund for that session.

Refunds

Each session is reserved just for you and involves preparation time, so we do not offer refunds for change of mind once a session is booked or a product has been delivered.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If you believe a service was not provided with due care and skill, or was not as described, please contact us and we will work with you to put it right.

Packages and Programs

Sessions included in a package or program (including the Purpose Activation Package, the 3-Month Transformation Coaching Container and the 10-week Root Cause Health Coaching program) must be used within four months of purchase. Sessions not used within this time will expire, unless an extension has been agreed in writing, for example due to illness.

Voice note support, where included, is available for the duration of your package. Packages are personal to you and cannot be transferred.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are valid for three years from the date of purchase, and the expiry date is shown on each certificate. They cannot be exchanged for cash and are redeemable for the service stated on the certificate. If that service is no longer offered, the certificate can be used towards another service of equal value, or refunded.

Digital Products and Reports

Written reports, voice recordings and digital products are delivered by email and are considered delivered once sent. Delivery timeframes are stated at the point of purchase. Please make sure your email address is correct, and check your spam folder if your delivery hasn't arrived.

Session Recordings

Human Design, Numerology and Purpose sessions can be recorded at your request, and the recording is shared with you via a private link. Coaching sessions, including Root Cause Health Coaching, are not recorded unless you specifically ask. Recordings are for your personal use only. Please download your recording for safekeeping, as ongoing access to the link is not guaranteed.

Confidentiality

Everything you share in your sessions is kept confidential. The only exceptions are where disclosure is required by law, or where we believe there is a serious risk to your safety or the safety of someone else.

Children

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Parent readings and New Baby Human Design Reports involve a child's details, which must be provided by the child's parent or legal guardian. By booking, you confirm you have the authority to provide this information.

Not a Crisis Service

Our services are not designed for crisis or emergency situations. If you are in crisis or your safety is at risk, please call 000 or Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Disclaimer

All of our services are provided for educational and personal development purposes. They do not constitute medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.

Laura Boatman is not a doctor, psychologist, licensed therapist or registered health practitioner, and does not diagnose, treat or prescribe for any medical or mental health condition. Our services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Root Cause Health Coaching is also subject to our Health Coaching Disclaimer.

Results vary from person to person, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome. You are responsible for the decisions and actions you take based on your sessions, readings and products.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our services or products, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service or product. This does not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Intellectual Property

All content and materials shared through The Art of Transformation, including written reports, audio recordings, session content and downloadable materials, are the exclusive property of Laura Boatman and The Art of Transformation.

These materials are for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared, distributed, published, sold, used to create derivative works, or used in your own offerings, products or services without our written permission. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

Testimonials and Reviews

By submitting a review, testimonial or feedback (written, audio or video), you grant Laura Boatman trading as The Art of Transformation permission to use and publish it, in full or in part, for marketing, promotional or educational purposes across our website, social media, emails and other platforms. You may request anonymity or ask for your testimonial to be removed at any time by contacting us.

Global Access

Our services are available to clients worldwide. You are responsible for ensuring our services comply with any regulations in your local jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your booking or purchase applies to that booking or purchase.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
