Your business has its own Human Design chart
Recently I was feeling a little lost and stuck in my business. I was in a bit of a rut, in love with my offerings but not in love with how they were being shared and presented to the world.
Something felt misaligned.
Which is ironic, given I teach about alignment.
But sometimes your own teachings are the exact medicine you need for yourself.
So I decided to take a day to step back and dissect what was really going on beneath the surface. I had a ping to re-analyse my Human Design chart through the lens of being a business owner.
I'm so glad I followed the ping, because it was truly mind-blowing.
The trap of generic business advice
There's so much gold hidden in your chart that shows you how you're naturally wired to operate, to sell, to market your work, your USP… and the list goes on.
And it became glaringly obvious where I'd veered off track.
I had got caught up in the trap of generic business advice. I was implementing things because I felt I "should" do them a certain way in order to be successful. I was trying to retrofit my business into the one-size-fits-all mould projected out into the world by nearly every business teacher out there.
I should have known better. But the trap of conditioning and homogenisation is such an easy one to fall into.
I literally noticed my body breathe a sigh of relief when I found these insights. It was like I finally had permission to do things the way I'd always wanted to.
Your business has its own frequency
I'm finally starting to fall in love with my business again. I feel much more connected to its essence and its soul, which is the whole reason I created The Art of Transformation in the first place.
I realised how far it had drifted from its own frequency and its own authenticity, just in the same way people do.
What's interesting is that it's not just your personal Human Design chart that shows you how you're designed to run your business. Your business has its very own chart as well.
So whilst I'm a 5/1 Sacral Generator, my business is a 6/2 Emotional Manifesting Generator (with a Caves environment, may I add).
And when I discovered this, everything suddenly made total sense.
The guilt I felt for not niching down dissipated. The desire to keep my business more private and quiet made total sense. The struggle I'd been experiencing to be consistent and force myself to keep a pace that wasn't me was so evident.
None of what I was trying to implement was aligned with my business's actual design. Which is exactly why I'd been feeling stuck doing the things I thought I should be doing to run a successful business.
The connection between you and your business
And here's the part that's really cool. In Human Design, there's something called a Connection Chart.
You can look at the connection between you and another person: a partner, a bestie, a business partner. But you can also look at the connection between you and your business.
There will always be differences between how you personally operate and how your business actually needs to run.
Your business, decoded
I was so excited by this that I couldn't keep it to myself. It was a full-body hell yes. I knew I had to share it with other business owners.
